” An Original Piece of Art for the Price of a Print”
This painting is the second in a series of 4 depicting the start of spring and a feeling of hope for the future. I used a combination of acrylic and oil based paints to paint the background and flowers, the trees were painted with acrylic ink and granulation fluid. I created the randomness with flicking and spattering, I dropped colours onto each other to create slightly surreal flowers. The painting was finished with sparkle and mediums to create texture and shine.
I hand finish these prints with a medium that adds sparkle and shine, mimicking the light that would fall on the landscape in the natural world. Because I add this by hand, every picture is different, giving you a unique piece of art for your wall.
All prints are gallery quality and are produced on 240gsm archival paper using Epson Ultra Chrome pigment inks. They are mounted in textured antique white (pale cream), acid free white core mounts which have a shelf life of 300 years. This will ensure that they will remain in perfect condition for years to come, we use narrow white contemporary frames.
Image size is 20 cm x 15 cm, overall size is 28.5cm x 23.5cm.
