Description

This painting depicts the Salsa Dance in colours of red, black, gold and white. I poured the paint onto the canvas and then tipped it to let it form abstract shapes. I then ‘found’ the figures and developed the composition from there. I added a gloss medium to the painting, some parts are matte and others are shiny which gives a lovely contrast.

I used a stretched canvas, the image measures 12″ x 10″, it is framed in a white ‘spoon’ frame and is ready to hang straight on your wall. The overall size is approximately 15.5″ x 13.5″
